BSG water ballast roller - 1.5m / 5 ft

The roller is suitable for small tractors and larger quad bikes. 

The benefits of rolling grass come in the form of levelling the ground and making the surface more firm, it also encourages tillering and improves growth. For the management and husbandry of grassland there is little doubt that the traditional rolling and harrowing, relatively inexpensive operations, remain among the most popular. Rollers are also important for restoring rutted areas, compressing road materials and gently consolidating areas where grass seed has been broadcast for repairing meadows and other grassed areas. The BSG  Trailed Roller has a diameter of 0.5m and can be filled with water to increase the weight and efficiency of compaction. The roller is made from 6mm thick steel, the operating weight is 150kg with the option of adding up to 250kg as water ballast.
